Sausage, Egg, Cheese & Bacon Quiche

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • ¾ cup heavy cream (or whole milk)
  • ½ lb breakfast sausage, browned
  • 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Colby, or Swiss)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Optional add-ins: sautéed onions, spinach, or peppers.

 Assemble & Bake

  1. Spread sausage and bacon evenly in the pre-baked crust, see our Lard Pie Crust Recipe .
  2. Sprinkle cheese over the top.
  3. Whisk eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour mixture over filling.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 35–40 minutes, until center is set but slightly jiggly.
  6. Rest 10–15 minutes before slicing.

Freezer Tip 

Let cool completely, wrap tightly, and freeze. Reheat slices at 325°F until warmed through.
